From the inflatable waterpark in Moville to kayaking adventures on Lough Swilly and the choice of boat trips available nearby you can take in the spectacular views and rugges coastline of Inishowen from many ports. Take it easy with a kayak around the underground caves of Fort Dunree or discover the many species of wildlife with a boat trip to the uninhabited Inishrahull Island
- Walk with Alpacas along the Wild Atlantic Route
These magestic animals are so friendly and tame that even the kids can guide them along the stunning knockamanny bends route you enjoy during the trek.
- Malin Head
There is a reason this is marked as a signature point along the Wild Atlantic Way. Its stunning natural beauty and fascinating history going back to WW1 and the weather tower dating back to 1885 makes it a great day out to discover its past. Its windy though, so be prepared.
- Doagh Famine Village
If ever you wanted to learn more about the history of Donegal and its struggles during major historical events like the Famine, then this is the place you must visit. Reconstructed cottages and reenacted scenes from various customs are to be enjoyed as well as the fantastic storytelling by owner and tour guide, Pat Doherty. Learn about the hostiry of poteen making and Irish wakes to name a few things covered.
- Wild Ireland Animal Sanctuary
This animal sanctuary is a newly opened facility in 2019 for rehomed rescue bears, wolves and lynx cats to name a few. You can enjoy a walk around the santuary and listen to the animal keepers tell interesting stories about their past and current lives. Get up close to some magnificent creatures during your visit.
- Beaches at every stop
Inishowen has the most amazing selection of beaches to enjoy from Lisfannon Beach next to the hotel (a recent blue flag beach and noted as one of the top beaches in Ireland) to Kinnegoe Bay. From pure sandy beaches to seagrass beaches and rocky with stones, we boast the most incredible beaches within Ireland.
- Walking Trails

- Climb Slieve Snacht
