We can’t guarantee you sunshine but we can guarantee that the kids will have a out of this world experience in Planet Active and Planet Imagination. Planet Active is the largest indoor play arena in Donegal offering families the chance to have the kids supervised and entertained by our kids Club Leaders.

Every day we have a timetable packed with activites including: movie nights, workshops in Planet Imagination and family fun hour in our Leisure Centre to help you entertain kids and thats before you head out onto the Inishowen Peninsula to discover a cultural feast for the senses. For day trips we have Doagh Faminie Village, Greencastle Martime Museum, Inch Wildlife Reserve and An Grainan Fort all within a short drive of the hotel along with Lisfannon Beach within walking distance to the hotel.

The Inishowen Gateway hotel offers a choice of dining options for families including Loughview Bar for more casual evenings or Peninsula Restaurant for a more formal option, situated overlooking the beautiful Lough Swilly.

2000 sq ft indoor Kids Club

Here at the Inishowen Gateway Hotel we offer use of our indoor Planet Active Kids Club with all family funcation packages giving your children access to two supervised sessions each day of their stay (kids 4 and up supervised only). With our two floor jungle gym, ball pool, zip wire and a range of activities including snooker and ice hockey tables, toddlers area plus plenty of space to run around kids will have an out of this world experience during their stay. Kids also can avail of one Planet Imagination workshop per stay where kids are treated to a make and do workshop followed by Lunch.

Looking for activities to suit all the family? Here in Buncrana there are plenty of water land based activities to entertain the entire family. From kayaking, horse riding, quad safari for the older teenagers plus fantastic town park, Waynes World and Inch Wildlife reserve for little ones. Also Lisfannon Beach is only a short drive away which the hotel overlooks, perfect in this fabulous sunshine.
